Problem with UAKM in Dosbox.
I had the game working perfectly in Dosbox about 5 months ago but then I had to reformat my computer.
I have it up and running again, but it is not in full screen. The commands to get the game working are also different.
Before, I would get it to the Moon folder and type TEX197 to execute the game, now I have to type MOON.
I also want to get off the CDs, so copied the AP files to the folder. Is there anything else I need to do after that or do I have to set it to look for the files in the folder?

List your DOSbox config file.
By the way, the TEX197.EXE file is located on the UKM installation disc.
It's basically the TEX3.EXE file (which the 'MOON' command executes), but with a later version of DOS4GW bound to it (v1.97 versus v1.95 in TEX3.EXE). To update the extender, you copy the TEX197.EXE over TEX3.EXE, making the 'new' TEX3.EXE the TEX197.EXE from the disc. After you do this, typing 'MOON' to start the game will display the DOS4GW loader reading 1.97 instead of 1.95 just before the game loads up.

I think, the problem may be, that you just copied the folders from each disk to your hard disc, whereas you have to copy the contents of MASTERTX\CHAP01\ to your installation directory (after you normally installed the game of course).

If you are using DOSBOX 0.65 you need to use the CONF file provided WITH 0.65 and edit it because there were some changes which make the CONF file from previous versions not wholly compatible. Also, there is a new setting in 0.65 which helps the cycles TREMENDOUSLY. Set Core to DYNAMIC and Cycles should be set to AUTO. I actually got my UAKM working almost to perfection last night. There is still a little sound stutter when there's dialogue - mostly when there's an animation along with the dialogue but other than that the game works perfectly. The syncronisation of the sound in the cutscenes is perfect and the game doesn't crash to Windows anymore, so I'm all in all happy about that!
The way I did was that I installed the HD/DVD installer that Wintermute made ... I use DosBox 0.65 and have mounted that needs to be mounted. One difference I made though is that I - as Sotaria said - changed the two lines in the DosBox Conf. as follows:

That seems to do the trick for me! I played it halfway through day 1 last night and not once did I encounter a problem playing the game besides the little sound stuttering I mentioned earlier!
