Val Davis's Lab

I lent TMO to my aunt who is avidly playing it. It runs fine, but when she goes to Val Davis's lab she gets the black Tex "loading screen" and then the compy just freezes. No nothin' from that point on.

Please help.
Not that I'm technically minded, but you don't say if she's running XP or another version of windows, nor what speed her pc is and stuff.
Very true. I'm pretty sure it's WinXP, I'll get stats from her and repost. My bad.
Her computer is the following:

IBM Aptiva
Duron 700
64 MB RAM
Win98 SE

Help?
Change the video renderer to Software (if you are currently in Hardware, or vice versa if you are running Software) before you enter, and change it back once you get inside.

The same solution can be found for a few rooms in Gideon's Masion when you get upto it.

That should fix it.

Awesome--I figured it might be something like that, but she lives up in the ol'Frozen North so it's hard to run tech support across languages. Thanks!
