What level was that? And can the rest of us pay for them later if we didn't get to that level?

You can always check on any of the rewards by going to the Project Fedora page on KickStarter. For example, I clicked on Campaign on that page and then used my browser's Search feature to look for "Radio". I found it first in the $160 pledge description.
Oops! Too rich for my blood.

Awesome!! Truly!
If this is referring to the comments Adrian made on the MatCatPlays session, I would not go anywhere near as far as saying he "sort of confirmed" anything. The furthest I would go is to say Adrian "hopes" there will be another game. Even on Tesla, Adrian said the staff worked for peanuts.

At this point, I think the odds for another Tex game are pretty low. Never give up hope but, realistically, the odds are against it.
Well, nothing official of course, but he said they were aware of the problems of Tesla effect and that they would solve them in the next game. He also said something like 'Chis Jones will hate me for saying this', as if he was talking too much.

Again, nothing official, and I think even they don't know it for sure, but I sense it's more likely to come than not (though maybe I am too desperate / optimistic. :) Al least we will have the Radio theater, no doubt about that

When Carr said Chris will hate me for this..., he meant saying something that would create alot of speculation. I feel Chandler is right about this. Much as a new game would be load of fun and is wanted, I do not think they'll be able to revive it. Unless some overly generous Tex Murphy fanboy/girl with too much money ponies up a cool few millions. I don't think Soros or Buffet are huge gamers though.

If I won a $30M or more lottery I would pony up to $5M to make another game.

But, I don't have that kind of luck. Some people do. My S-I-L was planning to retire by the end of the year, but hadn't told her employer yet. A few days ago she found a letter on her desk saying the company was reorganizing and her position was being eliminated. The letter went on to say the company is going to pay her normal salary through next March and, in the meantime, she can come into the office as much or little as she likes. So, she gets 8 months salary for doing nothing. I mean, who has that kind of luck? So jealous.
Thanks. This is the first time I've heard anyone utter anything about another sequel. It's just so weird to get updates for two years on Tesla, and then after the game comes out, complete radio silence as if everyone behind the game just dropped dead.

I would really appreciate Adrian and company posting a Kickstarter campaign for a sequel to Tesla. It's been over a year. I've got the new updated novelizations. They're great. They improve upon the original publications. And the novelization of Tesla which I guess I didn't even know existed until now.

As I see it, when you got momentum you have to ride it. It doesn't matter if you don't have the new story together yet, or the funding or whatever else you need. It serves you to get teasers of a sequel out into the world and build them over time, starting when the most recent title is still fresh in people's minds. Otherwise momentum flags by the time you get going again. Tesla did incredibly well considering the vast gulf of time that has passed since Overseer, but the next game can do even better if these guys can tease a new title asap. It's a bit late already. It would have been best to see it six months ago, but now is better than a year from now. Please get something out into the world, on THIS site, on IGN, on Gamespot, somewhere please!

Doing a game in pieces Telltale style would be a nice way to get something into the world earlier, and use it as promotion for the next piece. Every time a Telltale chapter comes out there is more press attention and another review. Forget about chapter releases as a game delivery strategy. Just as a promotion strategy it's genius.
As has been mentioned, the current project, Poisoned Pawn, is a fan-made game. It's not from BFG. It does have the approval of BFG however. I think Chris Jones was pretty skeptical at first but has grown more positive about the project as time has gone on.

I don't think Kickstarter is going to figure into this project at all. My fondest wish is that the game gets finished with the same quality (or better of course ;) ) as it's shown so far. Then, I hope BFG gets behind the game, promotes it, it gets marketed, makes a decent profit (enough to fund a follow on game) and then the members of The Poisoned Pawns get hired to do the follow on game (so they can get at least some payback for all their hard work).
I remember Adrian saying a some time last year that the optimum amount would be more like $4 million. And you can totally understand that. The man-hours alone, if paid at the proper rate would swallow a huge amount of that.

I was budgeting around $5M, just to be sure there was enough to do some really bang-up stuff. For example, it might be advantageous to use a higher end game engine, rather than Unity. They cost serious money. Also, it would be great to hire someone from the game engine maker, someone who has intimate, detailed knowledge of the engine and how to take the best advantage of it.
I hope they will give us more details about the next Tex game very soon !
I wouldn't hold my breath. I suspect the team is all "gamed out" at the moment and won't want to think about tackling a new game for a while.
