General steam question

Anyone know if there's a way to change the installation folder of a Steam-downloaded game without having to re-download the game? I would like to move both Tesla Effect and also the Age of Mythology extended edition.

If I do Backup and Restore will Restore give me the option to restore it to a different directory?

Thanks as always

Since TE is DRM-free you can move it anywhere you want. Steam won't know where to look for it, but you might be able to add a "non-Steam" game to get it back on your list.

As for moving it and it still being recognized by Steam, I would check the properties menu. I'd look myself, but I'll have to wait until I'm home this evening.
Under Steam|Settings|Downloads click the Steam Library Folders button. You can add folders to install your steam games to in here. Once you've done that, move the Tesla Effect folder to the newly created folder. Restart steam, and if it doesn't launch try uninstalling and reinstalling. It wont redownload, it will just use the existing data.

You games saves are somewhere else, though.
Thanks all, I got distracted after posting that but I'll try people's suggestions and keep everyone in the loop.
