I just finished the game tonight and the Translator was telling Tex that the cause of all of his flashbacks were because of Tex's link to J.T Donnelly. What flashbacks though? I honestly didn't experience any in the game. Or is this on another path?

Tex was already having bad egg-related dreams even in Overseer. Rewatch the opening credits. And Fabergé was a harbinger of doom at the end of the game also.
Remember also that Dalton and the Translator are partly speaking to the "old' Tex they knew. Almost as if taunting him, I'd say.
