Positive (No Spoilers) Comments for Tesla Effect!
Over on the BFG Twitter they're retweeting all the positive comments about the game there

So I thought let's share here some of the positive comments we find! Preferably non-spoiler, just highlighting things we always hoped a new generation would love from our experiences with the old games. But if there are spoilers please highlight the text, and make the font color for that part Black, therefore it'll be hidden unless people highlight it, thank you!!
Here's one I liked from the GOG forums:

Oh and if anyone wants a laugh, I was reminded of these videos from the "angry gamer" parody guy Ebeeto about the object descriptions in Orient Express, always made me laugh and feel grateful for Tex Murphy games haha:After 30 minutes of gameplay, woah! The exploration in this game is just great, it makes so much difference to an adventure game when you can literally go all over Chandler Avenue right after you exit the apartment, even into an abandoned apartment block and up to Coit tower (where you can even jump off the building and gives you a little clip of Tex falling to his death). Pretty much all the objects are interactive and you can click to hear Tex's thoughts, even managed to click on an old door and Tex says something about how after World War 3 these neighborhoods were highly sort after because the lead paint was resistant to radiation. Good noir feel and music too. Have only done a few puzzles though, so I'll report on them later.
It's a long time since I've seen such a big 3d map at the beginning of the game.

My positive comment is that I'm enjoying every bit of the game, taking my time and laughing out loud with Tex Murphy jokes, it has the spirit of UaKM with fantastic quality FMV. I'm starting day four and am ready for trickier puzzles; I hope they come, if not, I will finish the game too soon!
To think this return would not have been posible without UTM community makes me grateful, I love everyone of you!

Yeah I loved every second of this game. It might even be better than pandora directive. I still need to do a few more play throughs before I give it that title though. But I really loved this game, and the soundtrack was amazing.. Especially the intro music. Also cubs work on the VFX end is some of the best I've seen, he's a damn good compositor and it shows every second of fmv footage.
Im on day five and stuck on how to open the door, lol but Im loving all of it! I've waited so long for this! I'm laughing so much my hubby told me to be quiet he couldn't hear the TV, lol (he knows that this game means he's a video game bachelor for a few days). My niece (age 30) said she wants to come over and watch me play since she used to love to watch me play the old ones. All that is on top of the fact that the game so far has NOT let me down. I've HATED other (game) sequels but Tex never seems to fail!! Way to go guys!! I LOVE IT!
Finished the game - loved it (but wished I'd played in casual mode - I don't have the patience I used to have)
The FMV sequences blew me away with their quality. I knew beforehand about the increase in quality (2K? 4K? SomethingK?) but until I saw it for myself they were just numbers.
Loved exploring Chandler Avenue during the first few days. Loved exploring the other areas later on. Loved questioning the locals and hearing Tex's comments on most things he sees.
A little surprised that Smart Alex didn't have something unique to say each time I combined something correctly in my inventory, but Tex's quantity and quality of comments more than made up for it.
