Aaaarrgghhh! So busy!
I gotta let it out: I've been really tired and busy lately, and boy oh BOY does it frustrate me that I don't have the excess time and energy to go SUPER SAIYAN with joy over the impending release of Tesla.
It's the culmination of all our hopes and dreams. I've been waiting and I put a lot of $ into the Kickstarter. Inside, I know I'm so excited. I want to explode with passion like I did in 2012. But I don't have it in me right now.
Hopefully I can get my $#it together before the game arrives.
Well... that's clinical depression for you.

I know them feels. I don't know when I'll actually play through the game either. All that matters though is that it's there waiting for me rather than the other way around where I was waiting for it (for the past 20 years).

I think most of us, who played previous Tex games in high or university shool age, we will not have sufficient time to really enjoy new Tex.
But to be honest, if Tex should goon after Tesla Effect (or at least to be comercialy successful), we are not the players who can make it true, we are only few. Our support and faith helped to restart tex-adventure, but Tesla must be atractive for much junger players than we are and I wish that will be.
I am proud of myself, that I littlebit contributed to make the restart true and didnt lose my faith and although I will not finish the game for maximimum point, I still will be satisfied since I will see physical copy of the game somewhere in my house.

Indeed, I am both jealous and happy at the same time for those schoolkids. I have fond memories from around the age of 10 or so playing the Tex series and it's definitely a good thing that others can make memories too. I really hope that regardless of any pre-conceptions people may come with to the game, they are as drawn in as I was by the fascinating world, entertaining writing/dialogue and the wonderful character that is Tex.

I can relate to what others are saying. I was in school when the old Tex Murphy games came out, so my dad and I would always play them on weekends.
I'm debating taking an extra day off from work sometime in the next month to give myself a three-day weekend to play Tesla. The fact that I'm on-call for work two weekends this month, with the potential for a third weekend on call, doesn't really leave much time to play it upon the immediate release.
Where did all the free time and hours in the day go???

I can totally relate to you all ... I'm also quite busy nowadays but luckily (don't know if that's the appropriate word to use) my wife goes to bed around 8-8:30 PM each night these days as she's pregnant and easily gets tired.
So when the game does get released, I will have most nights I can play the game which is greeeat
Unless I don't finish it before June 27th as that's her due date
