Tesla Effect Preview on Game Trailers
Hey guys,
I came across this cool preview, didn't see a mention of it here. Soooo here we go:

Oh yeah, be careful, it shows footage of the new game. There may be some minor spoilers in the video. So those who want a completely fresh "Texperience," you may want to steer clear.

I absolutely love it. Seeing this relieved me of any lingering doubts that this would be anything less that a true Tex Murphy experience.
The humor, the slapstick deaths (death in a 2014 adventure game!), inventory combination puzzles, and the ability to examine everything and hear Tex's lines... It's all there.
The graphics are a bit underwhelming, almost like a phone game (maybe because they're keeping tablet ports in mind), but I'm not too worried about that. The Tex magic is there and that's what matters.

They said that they're always on in Casual mode, but in Gamer mode, it's some kind of limited-use ability, like a hint that you can choose to use when needed.Matthew Buckstein wrote:The video said it was for casual players, ie "entertainment" mode. Whether try can be toggled on or off on that mode, I'm not sure, but it would be nice. They probably will be, seeing as hints could be turned off in all of the previous games.
