Having converted to Mac myself, I can tell you the Mac versions of UAKM and PD work great! I don't notice much difference between playing them on my desktop PC or my Macbook. However, you shouldn't have to repurchase them from GOG. Double check and look under your account, and your games purchased. It should give you the option on the games you've already purchased to download and install either the PC or Mac version. I didn't have to repurchase any of my old titles for the Mac version once they were released.
