Didn't get to go to Comic Con? Well you can get the booth swag anyway! I used my powers for good and arm wrestled Chris Jones into signing some of the Tesla Effect stickers that were being handed out to promote the upcoming game.
And speaking of promotion, that's what this is all about!
With the maxi trailer hitting soon, it's crucial that we get the word out about Tex's return. And I was hoping we could get some great fan based chatter out there, so here is my plan.

10 of the best efforts (judged only by little old me hahaha) will be gifted with one of the Tesla Effect stickers. My absolutely favorite effort will be given the super cool photomosiac poster. Let me tell you a little bit about it. While I was down in Salt Lake City I wanted to get a memento and have as many cast members to sign it as possible. It was pretty liked by most of the crew so I went and made card stock copies of it to pass around. Many of the signatures are from the master copy that I got duplicated, but there are some original signatures on what the lucky person would be getting. Clint, Ault and Chelsee have hand signed this picture. So if anyone is game, step on up.

That needs to change - it's not that hard, folks - just show how you're spreading the word about Tesla Effect! Make your own poster, Youtube vid, song, dance, ANYTHING that indicates the name Tesla Effect in (just about) any way can get people to check it out. I've had a bunch of ideas just while writing this up that you're welcome to have.

I dropped the promo on the head of PressFire, the biggest Norwegian games journalism magazine. And if they put that up on their front page on the web, it also gets tied into Dagbladet, the largest newspaper (and online and off) in the country. Which would result in something close to a whopping automatic views.
So far they've only said "Thanks for the tip!" though...

Well, it's looking like the idea I wanted for this contest isn't going to pan out in time - I'm going to miss it by a day or two. Having said that, I did manage a couple of things -

I did a Retro Recon video (a series on Leviathyn where I play old video games and riff on them as I play, improv-style) on Panic in the Park, another FMV game from 1995, and I mentioned Tesla Effect twice in the full, 63-minute version, and once in the 9-minute highlights version.
I literally just (five minutes ago) finished recording a new Leviacast where we talked about the upcoming games we are excited about, and they let me gush about Tesla Effect for about five minutes straight. It SHOULD go up tomorrow, and I'll post the link when it does.
There WILL be a video this week that will NOT make the deadline where I compare my reaction to the Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer to my reaction to the Tesla Effect trailer, and next week, I plan to do a Save Files video where in celebration of the Tesla Effect trailer release, I play the first FMV game I find - unfortunately, the game I find turns out to be horrible.
That's all I got - I have another idea I want to do, but that one's going to require a LOT more work, and some help from the UTM community, so I think I'll save that one for the third and final Tesla Effect trailer release.
