Today marks 15 years since the last Tex game.

Boy, do I feel old. I remember going to the store shortly after it came out (I don't think I knew exact launch days back then), and eying the box, and thinking "It's about time they actually put Tex Murphy in the title. I bet this one will sell better."
I do remember our Harvey Norman store having an entire row of the Overseer box with the blinking light.

The greatest thing about 15 years passing is we actually have a new game coming out so it's more a milestone to be celebrated than mourned :D
I gots a webcomic! http://yetanothercomic.com
Look on the bright side. Hopefully in 15 years some folks have the money to buy the game themselves rather than asking their parents for the money. Haha.

Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
My fervent hope is that Big Finish put some resources aside to get a couple of crack programmers to cook up a new patch for Overseer, which will fix the bugs and allow the game to run smoothly under Windows 7.
That would be nice.

The battery in my overseer box has since died....
I unfortunately got rid of a bunch of my game boxes, as they took up way too much space.
That one was one of them.

I only ended up keeping my collectors edition boxes.. which are, Diablo 2, WarCraft III, StarCraft II and a select few that I actually still stored the game in.

Was sad to see them go.... but it had to be done =( Kept all the games though =)

If that guy who said he had access to the source code panned out, I bet they will do that, and get the DVD video working and all.

I'd love to see updated ports of the old games too that support 60fps graphics and an updated interface.
