Where's the PF section?

Just joined, wanted to post the fact that I don't see a clearly marked section for the newest game here in the forum.

Project fedora's home is at big finish games.

Welcome to the forum! :)

We pretty much all post everything and anything in the General Discussion area (to the point some of us have this section on our most visited or bookmarked in our web browsers and overlook the other forum sections  ). Sometimes its non-Tex related (especially during quiet lulls). But you'll find once things heat up a lot of Tex discussion goes here. When the PF Kickstarter was live for example everything was focused in the General section.

There aren't separate sections for the other previous games either. I think because a lot of topics have already been discussed about the old games so they may be quite quiet if made separate. So feel free to post about any of the games here or bump old topics.

But at the moment a lot of discussion on Project Fedora has to remain on the Big Finish site backer forums, since the Big Finish site states that information on updates etc. should remain exclusively there in respect to the paying backers. Maybe once the game is out to the public and there is a big flood of posts a separate section might be made (though I'd probabaly accidentally still post in General on reflex  ) ) but feel free to post in General in the meantime.

Welcome the the site, stingo1!

For the time being, as Sai has explained, most of the discussion takes place here in the 'General' forum. Once 'Project Fedora' is released – and once the UTM site has been re-launched (still to come!) – there will be a dedicated 'Project Fedora' area under the 'Case Files' section.

Glad to have you here!
Hey stingo1, welcome. Seen you posting at BFG quite a bit.
Thanks for the welcome folks! I remember reading at the Big Finsh forums that sometimes things appear here and not at Big Finish so I thought that I'd monitor this forum as well. I like keeping up on the Tex scene. :)

Yeah so the answer you're looking for is that if we had a PF board section, we'd be stealing Big Finish's thunder.

Yes before the Kickstarter, but even after the BFG Site was up and running, Aaron still graced us with any News of Tex and his return first... He said it was his way of repaying the faithfulness of this Message Board and Website...
But now that the Kickstarter was successful and Project Fedora is underway, it is only right for any New Information to be relayed through their website first and then here a very quick and close 2nd, since we have so many people who monitor both forums on a regular basis... With the Exception of Backer Only information that gets posted to a Backers' Blog and Backers' Forum on the BFG Website... So far Backers have been very good about not leaking the information that has been given to us through those channels...

Sorry if I'm just repeating something already said, I regret to admit that I didn't read through each post...

And of course last, but not least ------ Welcome, do stick around awhile...

Many of the team behind Tex Murphy do have accounts and sometimes post here. :) If interested, you can check out past posts/discussions by them via their profiles:
Aaron Conners
Chris Jones
Adrian Carr
Over the years they have been keeping in touch with the community via this site/forum, attending chats, doing Q and As etc. :D So worth checking in and you're very welcome to post of course :)
