Oh James, that Kickstarter embed is just too sweet!

Kicktraq updates once every hour. Given the nature of the post, as well as when it was made, I think it is self-updating, it just has a long time between updates. Check back 2 minutes after the hour. If it's different, then it's automatically updating. If not, then that's some fancy fingerwork.

I do set expiration headers on the images to 1 hour as the charts are only updated once an hour, so if your browser behaves, it should update them for you every time there is a change. I've recently upped the refresh time on projects that are closing within 48 hours to update every 15 minutes for you refresh junkies.

Keep your eyes peeled. I'm rolling out some changes soon that will hopefully include a widget for you keep open for your projects and have it update in real time without the need to break your F5 key :).

Awesome! Thanks!

Thanks for posting, kicktraq! :)

As for the imagine problems, alas, I don't think there's solution apart from linking the images or users right-clicking them to view.

Regardless of what they say or mean, numbers talk makes me nervous. :(
Yes, thanks for taking the time to come over to post Kicktraq!

How so?

Oh, and I realized maybe linking to the Kicktraq project page since the images don't behave probably would be easier huh :/... http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/texmur ... ct-fedora/

... and if you don't know about the experimental charts, those are probably more helpful. Click on the [π] icon at the bottom.

Oh, I just really really want this project to succeed, and I'll be super sad if it doesn't. It's not rational.
It seems there are two instances of this project on Kicktraq:
1. http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/251414 ... ct-fedora/
2. http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/texmur ... ct-fedora/

The first one is the best since it shows the project from the first day.

Ooh that is cool. Didn't notice that one. I do hope the second higher curve estimate will be the one that happens rather than the lower curve just breaking into the goal (or just under). I'd really like them to surpass the goal so they can do all the stuff they have planned in going over the minimum.

Wow, that would be awesome to see the numbers tick up (of course there might be some sudden dips too from withdrawals, so maybe thats why kickstarter doesnt do it to reduce shocks lol, but still I'd personally like to see the numbers moving dynamic rather than static jumps and drops).

That's due to kickstarter having two URLs for projects. I've since fixed this issue and hopefully the dupes won't happen in the future.

Sorry about that.

Once we get that feature going, if you have other ideas than how we've implemented it, just hit me up via the contact page and I'll be happy to take any and all suggestions and criticisms. I want to try and have a great tool-set for all the backers and project owners to use!

Ooo Noos! Why did the number stop going up?!?
 LOL, just kidding. I hope James keeps this up for another week. Just so we can bask in the glow of our sweet victory.
