Project Fedora Video Promos - Support Aaron and Chris!
Hey, new to the channel, but have been following for years. Since the announcement of "Project Fedora" I have been fast in taking action to contact any and all Tex fans out there. I was told by one of the lovely people at Big Finish Games to slap logos on all my Tex videos, and spread 'em around.
I'm making at least 10 promos to help spread the word for "Project Fedora" in the hopes someone sees them, and follows to Kickstarter.com to help contribute. Here's a link to the first one. I'm working on 9 shorts (Tex and his antics), and 1 big one (action packed, cut with FMV's and puzzle solving).
I got a bunch of other Tex videos on my youtube, but am re-doing most of them with the logos to properly help Big Finish achieve their goal when Kickstarter comes into play.
All of them will carry the Big Finish, Kickstarter, and Project Fedora logos. So, hopefully, someone will see this and help spread it around. Here's the link:

We've come for your Daughter, Chuck!
Nicely done. You may want to add a bit of music to the start to lead people in with though, either something from Tex Murphy or some free-to-use stock music. Keep uo the good work!

Nice job on these! Thank you for creating them.
If I could give one critique though, I think that the Big Finish intro logos and the outro logos are held for a little too long. As Tex fans, it’s the right about of length, but the average YouTube user, mainstream gamer, or even average adventure gamer will have much less of an attention span. In fact, a lot of mainstream gamers hate adventure games because they have no attention span.
I’ve thought of some more scenes from the games that would work great as promos as well. I selected many of the funny or exciting scenes from the games. There are quite a lot of them, so we should only post the best ones. Most of the funny ones are from UAKM, but Pandora has quite a lot of them too. Overseer has some too.
I can even help out in the creation of these. I’m currently working on some other Tex Murphy campaign promotions, but I can help out with these if you need it.
UNDER A KILLING MOON
- Tex tips over his chair in the intro (Colonel saying "My god Murphy, you look like hell. Really hit bottom didn't you?" or "I heard your name in connection with the case that I'm working, and you stay out of it! If you don't, someones going to find you floating in the bay with a hole in your head" and then Tex saying his "Frankly, I'm pretty insulted..." line as he tips his chair over.
- "In the moonlight, New San Fransisco sparkles like a chuck of cubic cerconium..." and Tex introducing himself in the intro while flying around
- Talking to Mac Malden for the first time
- Talking to Clint the Bum
- Bouncing off the awning at Eddie Ching’s apartment
- The entire confrontation with Pug in the alley
- The piano scene in the Golden Gate Hotel
- The confrontation with Eddie Ching and her goons, and the Tex quote “You mean to tell me the world is going to end on Thursday? Damnit! I don’t get my paycheck until Friday!”
- The conversations with Melan Tode, and Tex’s reminder of them when he looks at empty space
- The Chameleon saying that Pug is "cooling off right now", then seeing Pug's head floating in the water cooler, then the scene where Tex tries to get Pug’s head out of the water cooler, then just tosses it on the street
- The conference room in the GRS with the portraits, and Tex’s comments about everyone
- The security guard getting hit on his head by a rake, and then Tex saying “what an idiot” only to hit HIS head against a column
THE PANDORA DIRECTIVE
- Tex’s rocking horse story about how he got his name
- Tex finding the nasty, moldy sandwich in Nilo’s vending machine
- Meeting Zack Williams and getting your credit card shot, or when Tex pays him
- A montage of Tex looking at all of the PlayBub’s in the UAKM/TPD games (there were quick a few)
- Tex discovering the “fake” dog poop in Rusty’s Fun House
- Crazy Gary, and his spoof-religious sermons on eating meat
- The Roswell video found in the Oregon cabin (Tex’s comments on a familiar video)
- The NSA guys literally dropping Tex off at the Ritz, after Tex say “Just drop me off right here”… “We will”
- The fight scene on the roof with the Black Arrow Killer
- We could do a video with text asking “Are you good or evil?” and showing Tex saves Emily’s life, and then show Tex not able to get upstairs in time, and Emily is killed
- Emily’s performance as Luscious Lucy Luv, and Chelsee thinking that Tex is interested in the dancer, (instead of the necklace she is wearing)
OVERSEER
- The scene where Tex and Chelsee recollect how they first met (Tex in the dumpster)
- The scene with the blow up sex doll in the cabin
- A montage of the interactive clock tower fight scene
Once again, good job on these. Let’s spread the word about Tex!

yeah I did wonder about that. Maybe they could be combined side by side on one screen with a shorter duration (big finish next to kickstarter logo and project fedora logo with the kickstarter info in the black area).Texstarter wrote:If I could give one critique though, I think that the Big Finish intro logos and the outro logos are held for a little too long.
