Interview with Chris Jones

CJ has given quite an indepth interview in this month's Games magazine in the UK. For those in the UK, go read it - there is some rather interesting news there about Tex.

Thanks to Plumgas for the tip. For everyone else, I assume that CJ himself might be talking about this on the 20th and I definitely don't want to steal his thunder, so I'll let the man himself speak first before I say anything more.

Make it a threesome, I got it off the interwebs. Although I felt that the information he discusses in the little red box in the last 1/3rd of the page is .... heck I'll just stay vague.
I'm downloading from itunes so I can have a good read,

good article and I like the words" Tex Murphy is back in town"

Ah! Didn't realise you could buy on iTunes as well. It's mostly an interview with the history of Access, Tex and so on, and the bit right at the end has some news about project Fedora.

I'm suspecting that it's now up to us to really promote this and encourage all and sundry to buy the game.

Really exciting news.

I guess that's what the big announcement was then :D. If its true I can't wait.
Why would it be up to us to promote the game unless its a stepping stone for something bigger?
I think it's our jobs as members of this site and as fans of the game to do whatever we can to get the word out for whatever it is that's going to be announced; i.e....new game, new story, new radio shows, whatever. We are the ones that have been dying and begging for a continuation in the Tex saga for years, therefore, if they want us to promote it, we should. Can't have our cake and eat it too. Whatever needs to be done to finish this story, we should be willing and ready for it.
"Some men aren’t looking for anything logical. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
I'm not saying we shouldn't help. I'm just saying something is logically off when Chris says the fate of Tex Murphy franchise is up to us and I don't mean that as a complaint. Last I heard they were condensing the trilogy into one game so the success of this game shouldn't have a bearing on Tex.
yes but the fate of this game will probably have an impact on their pockets
