A little introduction

Hi everyone :-)

I'm a new member on the board (from Belgium), who just rediscovered the Tex Murphy games. I remember when I got UAKM from my parents as a christmas gift (I was 15 or 16 back then, I'm 32 now), and I bought the Pandora Directive as soon as it was available in stores :-)

For some reason, I skipped Overseer, but I after all these years, I discovered GOG, and to my big surprise they had Overseer for sale. To be honest, I think Pandora is still the best of those three, but that's personal opinion of course.

After seeing the ending of Overseer, I felt a bit disappointed because of the cliffhanger. So I started googling and arrived here. I immediately checked out Tex Radio Theater, and it's story is already so intriguing, that I'm eager to know how it continues... Come on Chris & Aaron, don't end this with another cliffhanger :p

Will they ever continue this story in a book? I assume another Tex game is out of the question?

PS: I started messing around a bit with the Unity 3D game engine a bit. I'm thinking about modelling Tex's office as my first "excercise" with it :p
the book is in the progress of being written, you should find some posts on the board about it.
also on gog there is a 2 part new interview with aaron posted recently.

tex murphy is back in town
Hello and welcome to the board! As Plumgas says, Aaron is busy working away on a book and is hoping to be able to offer a chapter to read next year (though I can't wait to just buy the whole thing!!)

Until then kick back, enjoy the company and have a browse around the site - JTOG recently uploaded a full written walkthrough of TPD which lists every point, every scenario. It's well worth a read if you enjoyed TPD.
