Just picked this up now from JB Hi-Fi. It's not actually called "the definitive edition" or anything like that, but it may as well be. Not only do you get the original cut, you also get the Redux version plus the feature length Hearts Of Darkness documentary - all in HD. Plus, there's obviously a whole other stack of featurettes there too along with some booklets and postcards. I only took it out of the packaging then so I haven't even checked the quality of the films. But, if Copola's treatment of the Godfather restoration was anything to go by, the results should be pretty amazing.
Great purchase. I got my copy the day it came out at JB. It's probably my favorite movie of all time. I experienced the Redux version first but now I can rest easy now that I have the original version and Hearts Of Darkness. It is truly the definitive edition of the film. Not like 20th Century Fox and there "definitive" releases which often only have nothing but a theatrical trailer.
