I don't know if you guys remember a thread a good while back (Maybe a year? Maybe two?) where we discussed songs that we only remembered the melody or lyrics (or both) to, but not the name nor the artist?
Some people were helped finding their songs and their music and good times were had. However, the song I'd had stuck in my head since ca. 1990 was never found. I provided the lyrics I could remember, and even offered to PAY to find the name and/or artist.
This song has literally been driving me slowly insane whenever I think of it for over two decades.
I have now exorcized it from my mind. I am free.
