i need help
I personally would recommend installing Windows 98 Second Edition over Windows 95... mainly becuase, like Windows 95, it has full Dos support as well. The advantages over Win95 however include: better computability with newer hardware (not current, but fairly new). So for example, if you wanted to install an Sound Blaster Live! card for a better audio experience, or upgrade to a DVD Rom Drive for Overseer you will have a better chance of getting them working on 98 than with 95.
I have an old machine running 98SE, and it plays all 3 Tex Murphy games perfectly. You can either follow some of the instructions on how to copy all CD data to the game's data folder or create virtual disc images to eliminate the need to even use the CDs to run the games. Both work fine.

Yes, very good Cub, I'm not sure why I didn't think of 98 and went with 95... 98 is much better for the 3 main Tex games... Provided you have your proper drivers installed, as Cub said it should work perfectly...

Well not exactly. Win 98 is only better for Overseer. Be glad that you choose Win95. Win 95 does not have web intergration witch makes it a lot faster. Win 98's regstery get screwed up after some time beacouse of the web intergration. Win 95 (C version or OSR 2.1) from 1997 has Internet Explorer 4 integrated and that means that it has web intergration. I hope you haven't got that version. Win 95 (B version or OSR 2 and OSR 2.1) is the most stable and without web intergration - it has Internet Explorer 3 but it's just for browsing. Microsoft is a monopolic cooporation witch forces you to use "enhanced" web-intergrated shell. I'm sorry for posting this but i really hate when cooporations do this!!!!!!
I reccomed using Win 95 OSR 2/2.1. I do.
