Depends on the festival really, you can go to some really $#it ones here in Adelaide where everything is just "ART" film of unimaginable bullshit and constant Tim Burton ripoffs. I've noticed that the more artsy the festival is, the more I feel like "what the fork am I doing here?". And then you get the other end of the spectrum where its all MTV camera bobing and Skate boarding / surfing / Snow boarding docos. See what we need is more stuff like what Cub has been doing.. where it can still be intellectual but yet appeal to the common man. If you want to know what I mean, just watch American Psycho or Fight Club and see how awesome it is to instead of going for the Cliche "hero always wins" sometimes it feels better to say "bad guy wins.. get over it!" its more realistic and has a huge philosophical message going behind the scenes, Cub's film did this so well. Germany Government needs to remove that off their law bill , eh, whatever it called that reclaim most of $$$ Uwe Boll lost in film sales profit in revenues. Removed that, Uwe Boll will be screwed and broke down debt after so many horrible movie. I can only guess 1-3 movies that was only decent out of the rest of his horrible movie he released.

I don't quite understand what all the fuss is about. There's a huge number of movies released every year that are at least as bad as Uwe's productions (often times even worse). I suppose the main reason he gets all this flak is because he's using existing IP that people enjoy to some extent. Had he done all the same movies without game references I'm fairly certain people wouldn't have bothered. He'd have a small cult following and that would be it.
Personally I think all this silly Boll hatred is at least as irritating as Boll's use of videogame IP. Wouldn't surprise me if half of the haters havn't even watched a single movie of his.
