The return of that other fedora-wearing guy...

Any trace amount of doubt I may have had is now obliterated.

After another quick review, I noticed one of the crates had a address on it, Roswell, New Mexico. 1947.
Could it be a time machine?
I smell crossover.
Two fedora wearing heroes join forces to combat the ultimate evil with witty banter, a whip, and the remains of a crushed pack of Llama's.
Truly, life is good!

Warm feeling. Yes. Definitely warm. Like it's filling my small, withered heart with joy. And possibly some kind of oil.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I cannot wait to see Indy in action again. I remember waiting for The Last Crusade to come out and thought it took forever but I think we have a new winner for longest wait with this one. I hope that all of this is exciting enough to get another sequel before Indy gets TOO damned old. I'd like to see em wrap it up with a 5th flick but maybe I am just getting greedy.
Oh and the IDEA of Jumper is far cooler than the way they executed it. I am surprised they didn't find a way to fit in the word "extreme" in the title to cater to that youth crowd they are so desperately shooting for. Give them some credit for damned sake and just make an entertaining flick and they will come regardless.

Looks can be deceiving.Really? It looked terrible in the trailers in my opinion.
Well, I enjoyed it anyway, and so did my movie-partner (we go about 4 times a week, so we see just about everything.)
I can't promise that you will like it.
The plot was fairly simple, but it had a bit more substance than I expected. Plus, it had Diane Lane and Samual L. Jackson. How cool is that? Hayden Christensen was the main character. I must say, he was not nearly as wooden in this as he was in Star Wars as young Anakin Skywalker. I thought his Star Wars performence was terrible but he was actually pretty convincing in Jumper.
There are actually a trilogy of Jumper novels. This one is, more or less, an introduction to the main characters. Hopes are that there will be a follow up or two. The 3rd one, Griffin's Story, is actually a prequel.
I wouldn't call it a "must see". But it was a pretty fast-paced ride, interesting premise and a fair-share of eye-candy. Three stars.
Now that's interesting. I thought exactly the opposite.t really surprised me how much the same he looked, as in; it looks like he has not aged since the Last Crusade.
He reminded me more of Indy's dad than Indy. No. Scratch that. I thought Sean Connery seemed more vigorous.
We seem to be on opposite ends here. Must have something to do with our being on opposite ends of the Earth.
It looks like I'll be going to the theater more then once for the same movie when it comes out, haven't done that in a while.

I, like many others, eagerly look forward to the new Indiana Jones movie.
Om a side note, Hayden Christianson was very good in the movie called Shattered Glass. Based on a true story, you might find it rather enjoyable, if not a bit disturbing. Also, at the end of the CD there was a brief history regarding the original character. Quite revealing.
