Pandora Directive: stuck on this puzzle I want to solve.
Hi everyone. I'm now up to Day 4 in Pandora, just after the NSA agent tripped up on my coat and fell to his death. I've used the tracking device to find the box and i've found it in the sewers. But it's here where I'm stuck because if you recall, the steel box has a strange locking mechanism on it which involves some kind of particle transfer via shuttle.
I don't want to just bypass the puzzle, I want to solve it. I feel i'm not understanding it properly though. From what I can tell, at minimum, you need a light coloured bead (excuse the dumbed down terminology) to transfer it to another side. The object is to transfer one colour of beads from one side to the other and vice versa for the opposite colour. So I start by transferring the light red bead with a dark red bead- all good, it goes accross. But when I try to take a light green with a dark green, it shows up as an imbalance.
So, I attempt to balance it by mixing a light green and a light red, also imbalance. I even try mixing a dark bead into the equation- no good. I obviously have no idea where to begin, but I do want to solve it. I'd love some pointers here, perhaps a few steps to get me started so I get the idea.
I look forward to hearing from you

It sounds like you're understanding it correctly.
According to my notes my 1st two moves are:
1. move right to left Rrr leave behind rrr
2. move left to right Ggg leave behind ggg + Rrr
3. now you have ggg+Rrr on left and rrr+Ggg on right (balanced)
Note: It is possible to use a red power ball to move a green shuttle ball and vice-versa. That's all I should say for now.
