...in the chinese New Year. And to the best of my knowledge, it is a tumultious year for everyone NOT born in the year of the swine. I thought I read somewhere that many families that follow the traditions and beliefs, try to have children that are born in this year. They're the only ones that really thrive in it.

So, best of luck to us all surviving intact. (and special vibes for you mr & mrs pronk)

Last year was one of the best years of my life, hands down. And it was my year....the year of the dog!

Refrain from any and all smartass comments, thank you! :P

Smart ass comments?! No way. Somebody's gotta help balance out ugly guys like me
Michel,

Sounds as if you had a pretty bad spell there. You know what I always do when bad luck happens? I look to the sky and say "man, if you're up there I bet you're having a grand old laugh" ...and giggle myself.

If anything bad luck is good for, it's good stories.

Evidently, you have a story to tell, and it is almost always a story of winning out against the odds. It might not be on an epic scale, but it's a little adventure.

I hope everything turns out well, and the only memory you have of these moment are those of a humerous recollection.

I'm born in the year of the dog, and last year was one of my absolute worst. On the other hand - this year seems to be tuning up to be a good one...

Thank u all for the kind words.

Jen i dont even know from what chinese year i am LOL i was born on 25 august of 1971 gee feel old now. (Yes that means my star sighn is vergo hope i spelled it ok And i dont want any bad remarks about that too.)

But seems the bad luck has not ended yet.

The bone break in erica wrist is complicated and runs into the wristjoint this might give problems at a later date like early wear of the wristjoint. but only time will tell. as of now we are just glad its healing OK.

Waiting another 4 weeks to get the plaster off then another 6 weeks till our PUP cavelier king charles gets here i hope.
Here are some pictures : the lovely rose cavaliers

So now for last night wife got home from playing cards with granps and some one used a key to carve out a nice line from the front till the back of our car all the side front pannel 2 doors and back panel, needless to say erica was not a happy camper all night. this morning we viewed the damage in the light and iwth some luck the scratch isnt too deep and it might be poliched away.

Well the car is only 4 months old so we arent verry happy with it and if we would have seen someone just looking funny at the car he would have goten a big plaster filled arm in his neck.

Ohh well im back to doing the loundry YES LADIES MEN DO WORK IN THE HOUSEHOLD at least i do.

Well, how about this: It is often said that whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

You and your wife are going to be one very formidable team after you get through this.

Not a smartass comment: As a dog lover and at least here in the U.S., the dog is considered to be Man's Best Friend. So of course it was a good year.
