Tesla Effect Analogue Control Mapping Utility

I posted this at the BFG forums but no one's replied, I thought i'd try my luck here too:

Before downloading I just wanted to run this by some of the more experienced players when it comes to mapping game controllers to games. I have an XBOX 360 controller that I use on my PC from time to time. I've come across a website that is dedicated to nothing but game controller support. Can anyone comment if the download from this link is safe/legit/functional?

I've never used that program before. However I have used Xpadder to get a controller to work with a game that doesn't support them. I have used this program for a very long time. It's safe with no hidden malware or anything. http://xpadder.com/

You would have to manually configure the buttons initially with xpadder whereas it looks like what you found has them premapped. Pluses and minuses to both approaches I guess.
