"It feels like somebody's watching. Someone really weird"
From the FAQ on Aarons web site.
"In UAKM when Tex looks at the window on the wall of the Slice 'o' Heaven, in the Alley behind Rook's, near the fire escape. He says: "It feels like somebody's watching. Someone really weird" And in PD, at the same window he says: "Somethings going on behind that window. Something I don't want to know about"
What is behind that window?"
Well no we know. I laughed out loud when I found this in Tesla. Anyone else found out yet?

Not sure what you mean? I was able to climb the fire-escape and look again at the painted-on door, then look into the window opposite, and see a character but is that all there is?talon2000uk wrote:From the FAQ on Aarons web site.

I searched for ways to enter the area seen through the window but found nothing. In one of the games there was a walk way through the back where one found the bottle of scotch, but this seems to be gone in TE.
Is there a secret way to get into the room(s) to have a look-see? Is this what you are referring?

Funny story regarding the painted on door and creepy window - and the fence to Rook's alley for that matter…you see…none of them were there originally! We were coming up on the deadline and I was having a look around "new" Chandler and as soon as I got to the alley I was like "hang on a tick!"…something just felt…off…so prepped Under a Killing Moon and The Pandora Directive on my system, ran up to Chris' office, and told him there was something he just had to see (after all, I assume it's been quite a while since any of those guys actually played the old games thoroughly). So he came down and I re-introduced him to the two previous versions of the alley, watched him chuckle as he observed and recalled the old gags, and basically told him that for long-time fans such as myself the presence of these 'landmarks' was all-important to maintain that feeling of recognition, and to accomplish this we'd naturally need to put the fence, the fake door + fire escape, and the creepy window back in. Then I suggested that we should finally get to find out what's behind that damn window…and he was like…"what do you suggest we put in there?"…hah! Could this really be true??? Since the first time saw that creepy window in UKM as a kid, I couldn't tell you the number of times I've pondered what could be behind it…and Pandora only piqued my interest further...and now the games' creator is asking me what I think should be behind it? Hah! I couldn't believe it…but I did my best to keep my excitement at bay, conquered my nerves and wrestled up a list of 4-5 things I'd imagined lay hidden behind that window for all those years. The fanboy definitely came through a bit, but I think he appreciated my enthusiasm and dedication to this cause as he simply replied "I'll see what we can do"…!…and the very next day he came down to me and said "it's done", and even acknowledged that it did feel a lot more like the old alley. So guys…I hope you approve.
