Hey Aaron, please see if you can get the third volume of the Tex Murphy gumshoe saga published. I'd like to read the paperback on Tex Murphy: Overseer soon!

Also you have another captive audience waiting for episodes 7,8,9,10.... of that radio theater. I know you don't get paid for creating them, but that can be answered by grabbing an eager sponsor.

Keep up the fantastic work. Do you know who'd make a fantastic Tex Murphy for a movie? That actor who played the U.S. President in the movie Independence Day. He is like Leslie Nielsen; he can play dumb very convincingly and humorously! In fact, he was in an earlier movie called The Zero Effect where he played an eccentrically brilliant detective -- a modern day Sherlock Holmes.

I can't see that actor without thinking "Crockett and Tubs...they're floating!" He was Hilarious in "Ruthless People"

Lt. Bender: [over a bullhorn] GIVE THE BAG TO BOZO, DROP THE GUN, AND PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR.
Earl Mott: Who said that?
Lt. Walters: [to Lt. Bender] This could very well be the stupidest person on the face of the earth. Perhaps we should shoot him.
Lt. Bender: [over the bullhorn] IT'S THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Earl Mott: Really?
Lt. Bender: NO! WE'RE THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION!

Anywhoo....great idea and welcome to the little family.

Thanks ... I think. Oh yes, I forgot about my favorite movie, Ruthless People. Pullman is the actor's last name, I think. Anyway, he'd play a good lantern-jawed, boxheaded goofy detective.

I've been working on my own futuristic gumshoe (what wannabee writer hasn't?); his name is Mentas Caboosa and his sidekick is an android that he'd rescued from a job as a crash test dummy for hyperfast speedsters. Andre Cabbott is its name and he/it narrates the tales, giving his dumbass spin on things. I think he's hilarious. Well, maybe not.
