The similarity in name by itself you could consider a coincidence, but using nearly identical font not so much.

Autoduel came out originally in 1985 and was based on a board game called Car Wars.

Wow. You have a hell of an eye! I haven't played Autoduel in 25 years. Just this box shot alone makes me feel like playing it again. Tried to buy it back on ebay a year or two ago and a good copy was selling for 80 to 90 bucks.

Oh, Lord British is a cool guy. Besides, the rights to that game are now either with Electronic Arts or Steve Jackson Games.

Suing over a font? I doubt that. Most fonts I know of aren't copyrighted. :roll:

You think that's ridiculous? A few years ago Cadbury attempted to sue another company for using the same shade of Purple on the packaging of their product. Not even Prince would be that protective.
