Prey they don't port the game to consoles.

Re: I have access to BOTH the GOG and Steam versions of the

Well, technically you still got a raw deal as you didn't get a quality adventure game, you got Moebius. http://i.imgur.com/CZGZOMA.png Yeah... But anyway, BFG shouldn't be undercut because majority of us paid higher than 2x the price of the initial product anyway. That premium alone should offset a...

Re: I have access tp BOTH the GOG and Steam versions of the

Not sure if this is an error but this morning I successfully redeemed my STEAM key. But, only minutes ago, GOG tells me I now have access to the download of the full game, not the Beta. So, no code for GOG seems necessary at all. I didn't pay a cent for either. Anyone else? Mines currently in the p...

Re: Countdown to "where's my code I want it now waaaa"

good on them for getting the steam codes out so early for us. I'm glad to see they were aware that some people wouldn't like steam. Just a shame they had problems with GOG but eh at least we've got the game now. Its gonna take me ages to download though as I have a limiter on steam ensuring that non...

Re: Tex Murphy Special Edition?

With ripping the models I'm now looking into doing a native install. The GOG.com version was causing problems getting the ripper to pickup on it in D3D mode. It kinda has to be native directX, not emulated as its mostly faked. It treats it like a 2D image basically. So I really need that geo to be o...

Re: Tex Murphy Special Edition?

the only thing they could really do is hack the binaries down to a hex/binary level. Its possible to make alterations that way, I've done reverse engineering this way in the past (and subsequently got banned from a few online games as a result.) There's nothing illegal about doing this, it just tend...

Re: ATARI Cartridges found in desert

as i've been saying a lot about this. What the hell was Atari thinking lol. It disturbed me a lot to know this is now a real thing and not just some myth people came up with.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Rolfe does with it. And also interested to see his opinions of it turning out to be real.

Re: They NAILED the music

Yeah I'm really happy with the overall music so far. Brings a lot of optimism to the table. Glad to see they've kept the tradition of fantastic music.

Re: New video update from Big Finish

Thanks for the reply cub. With the case of overseer I get that their target was an emerging technology, that being DVD which at the time very few people had, plus the intel bias also didn't help things. Also I get where you are coming from with the whole it's up to the user to ensure their drivers a...

Re: New video update from Big Finish

Why does it matter? Downloading and installing up-to-date drivers is easy, and you should be doing it anyway... Most people wont update because most of the time they're either lazy or don't even realise you have to update. I see it all the time with iOS updates.. People don't realise you have to ke...

Re: New video update from Big Finish

They must've used some crazy new codec then... Probably not a wise idea. You'll recall overseer had the same problem where the codecs were all so new at the time that most if us were running out of date codecs. It's very disappointing to see this happen again.

Do they honestly think most casual gamers are going to have up to date graphics drivers. *sigh*

Re: the pandora directive predicts the erosion of rights

there was meant to be some kind of nuclear war too.
Given what's going on with the current cold war (yeah that's come back again like a bad cold lol)
I'd say we're not too far off from making the Mutant League a reality lol.

At least plastic surgery will be cheap.
