Bought the whole series on Steam (even though I'm really not a fan of Steam). My wife and I played Episode 1 last night. She really enjoyed it.

You can die in Tex games, although it's somewhat of a minor aspect of them.

There is some of that for sure, but don't forget that PP is going to have new locations, and the locations carried over from Overseer are getting major revamps.
