Re: Reward surveys have been posted

I'm not sure of coat size, this chart says I'm a regular, so I assume Medium will work. Hmm...those sizes can be tricky. I can personally vet it for you if you like. Just have it shipped to my house and I'll measure it all out for you, and send it back to them if it doesn't fit. Fit you , I mean. O...

Re: Wishful thinking time... Actors/Actresses?

Ok, I'm going to toss my Fedora into the ring. Peter Dinklage cost way too much now, and his shooting schedule is probably packed. I say Michael J. Anderson. A well known genre character actor. Worked in Xfiles, Carnivale, etc. I think it would be interesting to have him in a position of power. Eit...

Re: Wishful thinking time... Actors/Actresses?

Welcome to the board, fellow B5 fan! As I did on the KS comment thread, I completely second (fourth?) your nominations, for the same reasons. The interactions between Jurasik and Katsulas were so priceless; I think Jurasik especially would be so excellent for Tex's world in every way, but I can see ...

Re: How will the new Tex Murphy Radio Theater play into Fedora?

:-) I certainly appreciate authenticity! Incidentally, that's something I always appreciated about the X-Files: foreigners spoke in their own language to each other, with subtitles. None of that Russians-speaking-English-with-a-Russian-accent-to-one-another junk. :-)

Re: How will the new Tex Murphy Radio Theater play into Fedora?

foreigners didn`t know, that women's surname in russia ends in " a " nothing of course, but it makes works of art involving something russian look a little stupid Well, or at least Anglicized . The English convention is to keep the same surname between male and female, so that (unlike in ...

Re: Show Support, Renounce Free/Buy Extra Copies

Agreed, Matthew, but I also must point out that the expenses for this game have only been mostly covered. The Kickstarter raised $450k, but BFG sank $300k of their own money into this as well. There's still a good chunk of their own investment there that I imagine they want to recoup. The key will b...

Haha, no...just a subtle shuffle noise. If they choose the right sound, it could enhance the realism of the VR stuff.

Re: The small joys of new technology

Great thread! I am really enjoying all the ideas. Not much to add right now, but imagining the new experience, I did just realize something that was missing before: footsteps. Of course, a gumshoe wears sneakers in order to tread quietly, so it would need to be subtle. :-) I'm also counting on pedes...
