Re: Rank 'em!

Mean Streets was a better game than Martian Memorandum. I think Mean Streets is one of the best games I have ever played. I played it in 1989 as a kid and it introduced me to a world so real I couldn't believe it was inside my TV (I played the Commodore 64 version.) I've played the PC version since ...

Re: Post Play Remorse

There was somebody on steam who posted a thread about "beating" the game the same day it was released. Literally a few hours after it was released.

Question to you gunners out there or speedrun game prodigies: are you playing on casual?

Re: Post Play Remorse

I baven't even started playing yet. Played only the demo. I am blown away by people who have already blown through the game. I guess you guys are the computer game equivalent of speed readers. Even the demo took me a week to get through. It took me close to 6 months to play through Pandora back in 9...

Tesla Character Interaction Question

I've played the demo and liked it very much. However, I'm a little concerned about interacting with the characters in the game. Will it be similar to Pandora, in that you can ask people just about anything (including inventory items)? Or it will it be some streamlined interface where the player can ...

Re: They NAILED the music

Hell I am so excited I'm going to respond to my own message.

Totally agree with you Tuco, the music is superb!!!!!!

They NAILED the music

Playing the demo and thrilled that the music is just dead on Tex.

It's simply fantastic and completely in line with the other games. It's got that ultra-mysterious vibe with a touch of John Williams.

Makes exploration so much better.

This is wonderful stuff, folks.

Re: Rare Tex Murphy Screenshot

Interesting. I, too, have always wanted a better look at Tex's shoes.

Also, just what the heck is Bjyman's avatar pic?

Re: Gametrailers Top 10 Detectives

It's an awful list, but at least they remembered Tex so they got something right.

Re: What about the resolution?

It's 2014 and I'm confused about the requirements on the upcoming Tex Murphy game! What's old is new again.

Life is good.

What about the resolution?

It's great that Chris and company are pushing technological boundaries again. Hell, I had almost forgotten that they always did (RealSound, CD-ROM.) I switched the motherboard on my pc back in '94 just to play UAKM in higher resolution and never regretted it, but what difference will this actually m...

Re: Rest in Peace - A Thread for People Who Have Passed Away

Actor Ed Lauter died a few weeks ago. Anyone who watches TV knows his face. Believe me, you've seen him. The guy was on every TV show ever made. He was one of those guys who never seemed to age, maybe because he always had that "middle-aged" look. Comedy, horror, cop-shows, pretty much any...

Re: Tesla on Steam!

We could probably dedicate a whole thread to predicting ridiculous complaints about the game to be found on the steam forums. "What is this, it looks like something from the 1980's???!!!???" "Cool game but it would have been much more Bada$$ as an FPS. they should have maid(sic) it mo...

Re: Nothing!!!

I'm tired of Batman (and superheroes in general.) They could cast anyone in that part and it wouldn't mean much to me. One more thing. Now that the US government is up and running again (what a joke, only about 17% of it was really "down") and Obamacare is full speed ahead again it's impor...
