Re: Ice Bucket Challenge

I agree Chandler. At the very least his hair should have gotten wet.

I guess it's a testimony to how good an outfit the trench coat and fedora are for everyday wear.

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge

To me the point isn't the dunking. The point is donating money afterwards. The video bit is just something fun to share with friends because watching somebody writing a check just isn't exciting enough to go viral. (As much as I love watching Patrick Stewart, that's probably not going to be good eno...

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge

Ah Joel you are like me. A purist. I know people use whatever they have handy if they don't happen to have a bucket.

So the solution is to lie in wait for the next time Mat comes back to Australia. Wait until he's relaxed and then spring out of nowhere with a bucket of ice water.

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge

Sure thing. The point of the ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness for the disease ALS. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It all started when some...

Re: Start off the week with a bang.

Yeah that's pretty much how it went for me. A big bang and the steering wheel went funny. Luckily I was turning into a shopping center when it happened so I didn't get stuck in the middle of the road.

Start off the week with a bang.

So I was driving to lunch in the middle of the day. I hear a boom. At first I thought I must have hit a curb or something. I park and step outside to see a blown tire. It's flat and there is a big whole in it. After getting towed to a dealership and getting a new tire everything is back to normal. J...

Re: 20 years ago...

I never played for points. I played for the fun of solving a mystery. Who would have guessed buying a fax machine would land you on a space station? Loved the wild ride.

Re: Happy Birthday lestat666

Hey Matt,
Yes I thought it had been a while since we've seen a post from you. Though not much has been happening lately. Once the game came out, everybody has been busy playing.

Re: Echooooo

Went to see 22 Jump Street last week. Funny and silly. Could turn my brain off and enjoy it.

Just picked up the Lego movie DVD. Fantastic movie and animation. The CGI really looks like stop motion.

Re: Echooooo

Yeah us old timers are used to the peaks and lulls on this board. This the part where we start discussing non-Tex things like books, movies, and recipes.

Re: Jessa's interviews

Yes I thought it was a very good interview. Hilarious response from Richard Norton.

I enjoyed Jodi's comment about how fun it was to make Chris quirm during their scenes together. :)
