Re: The Tex Murphy Pre-Kickstarter Campaign

I do know that when you are playing the game on DOSbox, you can just press the Prnt Scrn (Print Screen) button then open a program allowing pictures and go to file and paste or if you want to do it real fast, make sure the place where you are going to paste it is selected then hold Ctrl+V which is a...

Re: My first ever evening of drunken mayhem

I hear you there. As I am 21 now I would have thought that I would be a crazy party animal. But oddly enough, I'm not. That's why I can honestly say that underage drinking was one of the best things that has happened to me in my entire life. My first time drinking, I ended up throwing up in my sleep...

Re: Interview with Chris Jones

I'm glad I didn't hear about this until after I heard the actual news. All my hair would have probably been pulled out in anticipation! I was wholly expecting this project to be an interactive radio theater with scenes similar to 3 cards but with more of a Tex style. But hearing that is very excitin...

Re: Kickstarter Rewards?

Rusty the Clown T-shirts! or even better, Rusty the Clowns adult pop-up book! LOL A signed can of Tex's famous dog food. Maybe a recipe for Louie's special Armageddon chili? Maybe have them create some actual puzzle boxes like the ones on The Pandora Directive and have the actual game inside? The po...

Re: WOW 2012, GOOD FRIGGIN JOB!

Last month my mom sat me down and told me to stop believing in this Tex Murphy book (or any new content) saying, "They arent going to make another game Parker, it has been way too long and there is just no way." I told her to have faith, it will come no matter how long. Lo and behold, a mo...

Re: Kickstarter Rewards?

Everything I had thought of has been posted by Texstarter already! I wonder though if you donated enough and were invited to be an extra in the game, maybe you could tell em what your character should look like? I have been growing my hair out for some time now and its past my chin so I was thinking...

Re: The Tex Murphy Pre-Kickstarter Campaign

Waiting a bit sounds like a good idea to me as well. All you need to do is think if you had never been a fan or have ever even heard of Tex Murphy and then someone gets you interested in this new game they are creating so you go to donate and there is nowhere to donate. Eventually you would most lik...

Re: The Tex Murphy Pre-Kickstarter Campaign

Deus ex does have split endings and also allows you to pick what your character can say at moments so I think that one would relate to mainstreem rpg fans.

Re: Plan 9 - Finally! An Announcement!

Oh my god. Did I just read that? I've been waiting to hear this news since I was 6 friggin' years old! This is INSANE!! Im SO Syked to get a look at that! A lot of really good things to hear, harder to back up though. I guess a fundraiser would definitely be a good way to go. Its better to go big wi...

Spiders

I recently came across a Black Widow in a warehouse I was working at and also saw a show on deadly spiders a day or two ago and was just wondering since many of you are from other countries, have you had any deadly spider encounters? More specifically, the show I watched talked about funnel spiders ...

Re: Tex Apps?

Well there was that one scene in Overseer... Haha but seriously I was so pissed when Nintendo came out with that True Hollywood Crime game for the 3ds. It was a total ripoff of Tex's style! They should have looked into popular action/adventure/detective games and would naturally come to the conclusi...

Re: WOW what a letter to post on big finish games forum

I understand the disappointment but understand where Aaron and Chris are coming from. I have been working on an album since 2005! And every year, my new years resolution is obviously, "I will finally finish my album by the end of this year". Lo and behold, I still havent finished my album....

Re: The Walking Dead...

Shane is what the world has made him to be. So far, he has had to make the most difficult decisions on the show. He simply does what he needs to do to keep those close to him alive. The only real problem with him is his presentation and probably his propensity to be a bit stubborn when it comes to d...

Re: ALCATRAZ

The show is ok but considering the suspense surrounding this new series the premiere was somewhat anti-climactic. The show definitely has its moments and enough mystery to keep you watching but for the most part, this show isn't that good.

Re: The Walking Dead...

Just had a Walking Dead marathon in preparation for the up coming season. Interested in knowing how the group will deal with the last big event. Lot of controversy goin on! I really want to know what happened to the father/son couple that saved Ricks life in episode one. It will be interesting to se...
