you get no video when you do not have a mpeg decoder setup in config, after that the only error you get is - error does not mean a error which you disregard

you need dvd express or elecard mpeg 2 decoder

I found that the I had to install both the elecard mpeg 2 & dvd express for it to work & in the conf I had to set it to dvd express & it worked.

Still not perfect but it plays

its okay I worked it out, dos box resolution in conf file is 1024X768, so I set the video display to that setting & it works like a charm.
