I only played the last two tex games. I would love to play Mean streets and under a killing moon. Where can I get Mean Streets and does it work on vista?

The remake of monkey island got me thinking
There are some great games that were made a long time ago when graphics were very basic. I would love to see a remake of some of those. I would love a remake of some of the old kings quest games, or Countdown by lucas arts. Imagine how awesome Tex could be with today's graphics.

I have great memories playing Duke Nukem 3D. During my university days my friend and I would have lots of spare time during the summer break. We would play duke nukem from midnight to 5 in the morning every day. Lots of fun. I was great at making booby traps. Laser trip wire and lots of pipe bombs :)

Does anyone remember a game called Loom? It was made my Lucas Arts. How about the Myst games. Those were very difficult. However, they had great graphics.

The Dig was great !!!!! Rama was also good, but the puzzles were a thinking man's puzzles. They were damn hard and involved things like base 8 and base 16 math. Wasn't countdown made by the guys at access? Yes, Countdown was made by Access. There was another game called Amazon which was also made b...

Does anyone remember the 7th Guest? I believe it was the first game to use really good graphics and video sequences with actors for the characters. The 7th Guest opened the door for games like Tex Murphy.

Does anyone remember the game Countdown? I was really into that game but i got stuck and eventually abandoned the game. I was stuck at the part where you are hiding in a garbage bin in an alleyway spying on a hitman. The hitman was waiting to meet a doctor. I never knew what to do there so i eventua...

You are right Lotus, it was called The Dig. Another great Lucas Arts game. The Zork game was great but i got stuck in the forest. I Could not figure how to enter the forest. That drunk guy in the house with the secret passage way to the underground was hilarious. He really looked like uncle Jessy fr...

Hey Bafitis,
I tried to play the second phantasmagoria but there were way to many movie sequences. It felt more like a movie then a game. I was watching way more than playing.
