Re: "Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

Great news, Aaron, thanks!

I don't think DLC is the root of all evil, but it's been so misused lately that most people just hate it. I guess it's a good move to take it out.

Re: "Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

Anyone here have any idea how the other previous games did their first day? Is this on par, or better?? Shadowrun Returns reached 350K in the first 24 hours, but Shadowrun is a pretty big name and that was one hell of a Kickstarter. They've got 2 million bucks! So, we could say Tex is doing great!

Re: "Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

I just wanted to add that I think the kickstarter page is a bit... I don't know, maybe underwhelming? There is very few information, and maybe it could use some humour. It's very important to create an attractive page. Also, it's a bit hard to parse throught the rewards... this guy made some interes...

Re: "Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

Tex is baaaack!!! Donating NOW!

I guess I'll follow the example from "my voice just" and subtitle the video in Portuguese. I'll try to get it done tonight.

Re: Writing an article about the series...

Bizarre Characters... I was going to recommend Larry Hammond, but you caught that one, how about Beek Nariz and Inspector Burns... I'll focus only on the first two games for this section of bizarre characteres, but thanks anyway! In fact, you've just brought to my attention that I must find a way t...

Overseer: a mixed bag?

As i've already mentioned in a previous topic, I'm writing a feature on Tex Murphy games for a Brazilian gaming magazine. So, I basically had to play all games in a row, from Mean Streets to Overseer. Thankfully, it was a real joy. I had a blast playing them all, it seemed to me that the games were ...

Re: Writing an article about the series...

I've just remembered there is a section about the characteres from each game in this website ^_^

Larry Hammond, Ron Meat, Rockwell Bache are Guy Callabero are weird enough to be in the gallery too.

Re: Writing an article about the series...

Thanks, Jen! I'm considering a small gallery of the weirdest people found in the series. Funny names are a big plus. I'm sure Big Dick and Michelle from Martian Memorandum will be on it (by the way, does anybody know who plays the role of Michelle?). Delores from Mean Streets may show up too, she is...

Re: Writing an article about the series...

So what people say is true, we find Brazilian people everywhere ^_^ I wasn't aware that Pandora Directive had been subtitled in Portuguese, thanks for the info! *checking your YouTube videos* In fact, I've watched the final steps of Martian Memorandum through your YouTube channel! The truth is, I ca...

Writing an article about the series...

Hi everybody, I'm new around here. I'm Orakio Rob, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since Portuguese is my native language, please excuse any mistakes. I'm a new Tex Murphy fan. I started playing Mean Streets last year, thanks to GOG.com. I loved the game (even the often criticized fligh sim sections), ...
