Re: The Poisoned Pawn - July 2017 Update – New trailer and i

Don't forget that there's been a long tradition of video game developers placing themselves within their games. There's a huge, possibly endless list of examples (some of which include TM). Here's an extremely abridged list of examples: - Doom 2: John Romeros severed head is found hidden behind a wa...

Re: The Poisoned Pawn - July 2017 Update – New trailer and i

Just checking in to say hello. Been VERY busy at my end of the world since graduation but also been following the development of this the entire time. Really stoked at the latest screenshots. Cannot wait. Is there any chance of having some NPCs wandering around? https://twitter.com/ChaoticFusionTM/s...

Re: Pandora's Big Box

That was just them joking around.

But the idea of having Poisoned Pawn have Tex re-tell Overseer to someone other than Chelsea with modified details is a continuity of sorts. Perhaps all of this is leading to something greater.

Re: Pandora's Big Box

The guys seem to be more optimistic about future games from Tex given some of their remarks in that interview. Perhaps the 'outsourcing' has given the series a new lease of life? Admittedly, that is just me reading into it but they seem to be saying less of "if we" and more of "once w...

Re: The Poisoned Pawn MAGFest 2017 Trailer

I suppose the key difference for Caustic Fusion would be the fact that, apart from Chandler Avenue, they would be designing a game from scratch. Whereas, with the current remake of Overseer they already have the locations, settings and gameplay procedure established for them since they are remaking ...

Re: The Poisoned Pawn MAGFest 2017 Trailer

Looks incredible, guys. Question - clearly you know how to draw, design and code. You've also proven that new footage has been filmed. Since BFG could cut expenses on programming and just handle the filming side of things while outsourcing game design to your team...what's to say new games couldn't ...

Re: My last ever day of University

Is this like "articling"? Oh, BTW, I just re-read your original post and noticed you said, "something I never thought I'd be writing". Really? Did you think you would never finish university? Essentially, it is articles but the State of Victoria has done away with articles. It's...

Re: My last ever day of University

Actually, I have my plans for next year lined up already. To be admitted to practice, I need to participate in an approved legal training program (think of it as an apprenticeship or work experience). That's a six month program - commencing July of 2017. So, that's the second half of the year planne...

Re: My last ever day of University

Results are in. It's all over. I'm done. 2017 is the beginning of a new era. Goodness knows what form my next incarnation as an adult will take.

Re: My last ever day of University

Ahahaha, thanks Silvermint. I've actually been trying some of those things you have suggested throughout the year and the results have been surprising. In a way it demoralises what you are trying to promote, but i've found that by trimming the fat on certain expenses, I have actually had greater buy...

Re: My last ever day of University

aahahaha - all noted.

Still going through the exam phase so while classes are over, the degree has a little bit of longevity in it for the moment. Nearly there.

My last ever day of University

This is something I never thought i'd be writing but today is a very important milestone in my history - I am finally going to finish university (provided I pass all of the coming exams). Just about to sit my final class, the it's all exam preparation from here. Any bucket list suggestions before I ...

Re: Help the Chaotic Fusion team make The Poisoned Pawn bett

I've been playing the demo for the upcoming System Shock remake and i'm still blown away by how good that game looks. Pawn will be on the same engine, so the idea of being able to look through the windows at a Cyberpunk city and walk around an Anasazi ruin in full HD (at minimum) is giving me gooseb...
