If you have tried (both) the original CD and the VCD, and neither is being recognized in the game, then it would seem that the disc is defective/ damaged. But you're saying: "Disk is okay". I'm not doubting that the disc is okay, but I'm wondering how do you know (for sure) the disc is oka...
