All the more reason that they choose their Kickstarter goal wisely!

I'm just hoping Tex gets in while the Kickstarter market is still hot.

Someone on another forum stated Activision are sitting on the Roger Wilco etc. IP, shame :(

This is accurate. Activision inherited all the Sierra IP during the vivendi merger, except Leisure Suit Larry, which was sold to Codemasters, which is why Replay games was able to license that one so cheap.

One hour to go for Jane's kickstarter, they're aiming for the final stretch goal of 450k. There's been some goodwill exchange between backers of both Jane and Tex's kickstarters so after it wraps up (or a little while later after maybe they've recouped funds) we may see more backers.

- All you peeps from Tex - don't worry, we have your backs.

- Of course we'll help out Tex Murphy! Even Jane has donated.

- 1½ week from now paycheck goes in and THEN it's time to visit the TEX board :D

I've been posting a bit on Jane's KS board also, and wishing them the best. I haven't been pushy about Tex, but they know where I'm from w/ my Tex avatar. The Jane people on the Tex board have been very polite with their requests for support. They are close to their $450, and with paypal, they'll probably have it. Let's hope some of them will be there for Tex too.

This project --http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/412101570/unemployment-quest-a-non-epic-rpg -- has already hit and gone way over it's very modest goal (considering the game was pretty much already completed, but it looked like a fun one, and one that Tex or maybe some of us can identify with. I know I can!
