Amazing job on the teaser. Very mysterious and captivating.
Despite writing a news about the teaser on our own website, i opened a thread about 3 cards/ and the teaser at http://www.justadventure.com . ( My nickname is Murphy2042)
So feel free to leave your thoughts in that thread as well. :D

Great trailer. The voice overs were enough to make it superb even without any game graphics (other than cards etc.), brings back memories of the awesome voices of the actors in Tex Murphy, you guys sure have/pick a good crew for this stuff!

Is the trailer to be exclusive to here or are we allowed to spread/post the video file itself around other websites?

I'm positive these guys will be all for viral marketing. Getting the name out there is the biggest thing for them right now. Hype, hype, and more hype!

Most YouTube users never ask. They just do. But I won't. Yet, if it's a video and it needs to be seen, it had better be on YouTube.

I know that one of the artists who worked on the game has a YouTube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/cannedgravy
I've asked him to ask AC and CJ to let him upload it.

There are plans in place to get the teaser up on YouTube in an official capacity soon, but if anyone else wants to put it up there in the meantime, I think the general consensus is "go for it!" Every little bit of word-of-mouth and viral advertising will help!

Amazing trailer - let us know what we can do to push it in our local stores. I for one will be asking to reserve a copy and asking what I can get the local shops to do to promote the game.

Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it. :) I asked because AC in the other thread said it was going to be "exclusive" to this site but I guess that was just in terms of it "premiering" here first. Of course I know it'd be taken to other sites even without asking but thought I'd ask. ;) Glad I can spread it around, I'll see what I can do. :D Best of luck everyone else in spreading the word.

I require this game now! :P Only kidding, but I can't wait for it to come out, nonetheless!

Wow! That looks really intriguing. It looks really good, and I can't wait to go out and buy it. Hell, I may buy three copies :D .

And since you guys are talking about posting it on youtube, you might want to take a look at this web site:

http://www.vimeo.com

Its another video hosting website, but it lets you post videos with a higher screen resolution. The result is that it looks much better than the result that youtube will give you. You can post it on there and embed the videos and everything. Its a good website, and I suggest you look into posting it there.

Later.

The story seems very good from what I saw in the trailer. Of course any story done by AC is always good but I am iffy about how they will introduce cards into the game mechanics.

This is probably just from my negative experiences of games that are based around cards being the central part of how the game works...... I was just never a fan of them.

I am holding off on forming any opinions though until I see how the game works.

I am just hoping for a good adventure games with a twist in mechanics... I know AC and CJ will deliver. They always have.

Please no one bite my head off for my honesty. I'm just being a little conservative in my optimism.

Looking forward to the big reveal. Hopefully this leads to a new Tex adventure or Polarity being made.

One word.

*OK, so that's technically more than one word.
