For reeeeeals! lol. So if you don't know me outside of this message board I must explain a bit. I'm known on YouTube as Dr. Noise. I've had some success there hooking up with a record label (DFTBA Records). Thanks to a big great community there I've been making music almost solely for my YouTube audience. Since I"m a solo act when I do videos I often times will "clone" myself playing all the parts. It's a lot of fun.

Anyways, always wanting to make an adventure game... 3 weeks ago I decided to take on the challenge. And now it's complete! It's also entirely based off YouTube. I've spent at least 80 hours in the past 2+ weeks rendering (sometimes 3 times) every single video (237 in total) and then of course annotating every single one of them (about 950 to 1000 total annotations). It's been a lot of work, but I'm very happy with the results. And now I'd like to pass the link on to my fellow adventure gamers and find out if you guys/gals will enjoy my work!

Thanks, yaaaa way too much work! haha. I'm planning on doing another one (with less inside jokes...like who who doesn't watch my videos on a regular basis is going to get the jokes behind why I have clones of myself or a talking statue named after the wrong religious figure lol). It'll also be much bigger. Something I can spend more time on. I crushed myself into an unreasonable goal with this particular game and I was working non-stop on it for 2 and a half weeks.

The end result, though, makes me happy as it shows that a point & click game CAN be done soley in YouTube. I'd like to have made a flash version of it, too, but I'm just not Flash smart. One of the few programs I'd like to know how to use that I just have no clue as of now.

I've watched a lot of wacky stuff in my time, so the random talking statue and clones wasn't a big deal to me. I've not watched Adventure Time either but I enjoyed the song. Still its cool to hear you'll be doing more and maybe bringing other people on board for other roles. Don't be afraid to put in some wacky stuff like talking statues though. People will be prepared to suspend disbelief for certain stuff.

That was really good! The format reminded me of playing Gabriel Knight 2, or one of the Phantasmagoria games. I could tell you put a lot of time into it, and it looks like it was a lot of fun to do.

thanks again, appreciate the comments. I'm glad you found the humor good. I had written the idea so fast and filmed it immediately after that I figured it'd be all spotty and perhaps as a result a bit boring!

I'd love to do this kind of thing as a flash game, but I just don't have the time and patience for flash. I DID try learning it once, but was just constantly frustrated. I'd need an instructor for something like that. lol

Thanks for comments and suggestions. I'd love to know of things to do to make a next edition better (and obviously spend more than an hour writing the structure out before filming lol).
