It's that sort of movie. You'll understand if you see it. Better than Batman Begins and on par with The Dark Knight. But, I felt I preferred Joker a a villain, though Bane was very good. Again, i have my reasons for loving this installment but it is spoiler heavy.

I never considered that to be a spoiler, actually. Why bring him in if not for that...

That being said, I'm not reading this thread anymore until I've seen it myself. It won't be released here until the 25th... Grmbl grmbl...

Just saw the movie and have to say I think (imho) this is the best of all 3.
I still think the Joker (Heath Ledger) was the best villain, but the second installment was a bit too long for my taste (it tended to drag things out a bit).

Also the relation between Bane and.. not gonna spoil... was pretty good. Didn't see that coming. Did know that Bane couldn't have.. well another not gonna spoil.

Recommended!

I watched the trailer with some guy with a gas mask or something, I might watch it when it comes on cable but I wouldn't be paying to see it.

actually saw more of the trailer on the foxtel & it did look good, still wouldn't go to the flicks to see it but will buy it on blu-ray. I do have the first 2 on blu-ray.

I wonder if heath ledger was alive today would he have cast in this one also.

It should be good, I've seen the original comic appearances of Bane(thank you, Knightfall collections) and the version from the Arkham ________ games. Looking forward to another incarnation.

Just saw it, awesome movie! Well worth the price of admission for anyone. Best incarnation of Catwoman in either movies or TV. Didn't read this thread beforehand because didn't want to accidentally see any spoilers. And.......can't say anymore with being the one to spoil it for someone else. Enjoy!

I am going next saturday.

Will spend next week watching the first two films as I heard there are lots of ties to the first film and I need to refresh my memory.

I saw this last night and thought it was very good. I don't think it was a life-changing experience (I didn't expect one), but was a very entertaining way to spend an evening.

Possibly the weakest of the series, haven't decided yet, last half hour made for a pretty good trilogy-ending finale, though. A recommendation from me, but at the matinee price.
