what I can't for the life of me understand is why the mainstream press keep bloody ignoring my requests for publicity.. it don't make any sense. This should be bigger than even schafer's game. What the hell.

Just be careful. I know Ryan from Giant Bomb has specifically stated that inundating their emails with requests for coverage has a reverse effect for them, it makes them less likely to cover it. I can't say if that goes for all gaming news sites but it's something to be at least a bit wary of. I do admit that I've sent an email off to Joystiq and Kotaku but neither have seemed to care so far...

Funny since these sites all reported it when Project Fedora was announced. I honestly wonder if the long lead time was a bit of a mistake...

well aware of this. I simply just sent them the "press release" chris and aaron posted up. Its up to the press if they want to follow it. I'm too busy to follow it up anyway. Its just annoying to see a lack of any attention given that not even a few weeks ago both Gamespot and IGN were doing weekly reports on Kickstarter projects.. now suddenly they've stopped.. its bullshit. I've only sent this info to Australian PR outlets.. everyone is welcome to try else where.

So I just tried a bid on Project Wonderful and it's already in effect, quite interesting. Gonna blow some spare change and hope it makes a difference.

Are we likely to see more activity on the weekends? And presumably the more people that back the project the more coverage it gets - friends see what they are bidding on and chip in?
I have every faith.

This weekend seems likely... update videos a'comin!

I need my own kickstarter for coffee donations! So does Roc for that matter!

Ok guys, I'm almost done with italian subtitles, there's just 5 or 6 sentences I can't absolutely understand by ear. Here they are, it'd be great if someone could write those sentences, so I can translate'em! Thx

At 01:21, the sentence heard while Tex is falling (something like "?????? of the crime solvers")

At 02:04, what James Dean says (something like "?????? your last game")

At 03:38, something like "?????? cash and references"

At 04:46 what Adrian says (like "?????? Chris")

At 06:10, the sentence just before "why help us out?"

At 06:58, what Elvis says (something like "Like it, thank you very much")

Kind of partial to your last game
And for that I'll need cash and references
Take your moment Chris
So it's hat in hand time, why help us out
Why thank you, thank you very much

- Chris

6:58 Well thank you, thank you very much.

Oh, fine. Scooped. I had to pause to explain kickstarter to my boss.
