Arnold Sternwood doesn't seem to appreciate that his busy schedule is being interrupted. He appears to be more interested in getting back to work than in answering Tex's questions.
When Sternwood finally agrees to talk to you, ask him about Carl Linsky and then Wanda Peck, which will add C.A.P.R.I.C.O.R.N. to your Travel menu and Ask About list. Before you leave, ask about C.A.P.R.I.C.O.R.N., Blaine Werner, Linsky's surgery, DeLeon Health Services, and Sylvia Linsky. So, Carl Linsky, according to Sylvia, wanted to live forever. Sternwood says that DeLeon Health Services supplies North Hill with many different medications, including anti-aging drugs. Carl Linsky was also recieving shipments from DeLeon. Could he have been taking the anti-aging drugs Sternwood mentioned? It seems more and more likely that Linsky didn't, in fact, want to die, and that something, or someone, pushed him over the edge. Literally. When you're done talking to Sternwood, travel to Delores Lightbody's house.
When you arrive at Delores' house, ask her about the initials "S.F.," which you found in Carl Linsky's notes. Delores will come up with the name Sonny Fletcher, who is added to your Ask About list. Ask Delores about Sonny, and she'll say she thinks he's a P.I., too. Looks as though Carl Linsky had hired a P.I. himself. Maybe we could track him down. Travel to Tex's Office.
The fastest way to find Sonny Fletcher is by taking advantage of the free trial A.I.D. subscription. Besides, it gives a good excuse to use it while Tex can still afford it. Go over to the desk and turn on the vid-phone. Dial up the American Information Database, and ask for information on Sonny Fletcher. If you like, ask about anyone else, and then end the conversation. After a few seconds, the requested information will print out on the fax machine. Depending on how many people you asked about, you may or may not have more than one fax. Once you take the fax that's sticking out of the fax machine, you'll automatically have all the faxes you requested, so don't wait around for hours waiting for the next one to come!
Sylvia said earlier that she found the address to Tex's office at her father's house, but with no name. Rather, she found the address to Sonny Fletcher's office, whom her father had hired. Since there was no name on the scrap of paper Sylvia found, she went to Tex's office building looking for the P.I. her father had hired. When she checked the directory in the lobby, she found Tex's name, saw he was a P.I., and put two and two together. And the rest is history... Anyway, the important thing right now is that part about Sonny's criminal record. Says here that the entire record is available from the S.F.P.D. Maybe it's time to pay another visit to Detective Clements. |
